This is a timeless series of novel. It is the most amusing, chill giving, and thrilling novel for teenagers. Even adults will love to read them. One thing that stands out of the whole bunch, is that they are packed with amazing sketches, simple yet just brilliant.

The whole plot revolves around how three orphans; Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudellaire, who goes around from one place to another, searching for a new, homey home. However, their first guardian, Count Olaf, turned out to be a vicious villain who was after their parents' wealthiness. The Baudellaires went everywhere to seek for a permanent home and a safe family. But where ever they go, it seems like Count Olaf is always on their tails, in disguised as 1001 of the many things he can pretend to be.

Sorrow and misery accompanies the orphans everywhere. They learn to love eachother, keep eachother safe, and to fight the evil clan of Count Olaf's.

These novels seem to be monotonous for every book. The story line revolves around how the orphans move to a new place, only to be faced with Olaf's treachery once again. Lemony Snicket seems to be a wonderful writer, and his writing is very attractive and even humorous at times.



Favorite of the 13 series: The Wide Window (Book #3)

The wide window is the most thrilling book out of the series because the setting in the story is very fresh and imaginative. The idea of the leeches eating human in the Lake is very frightennig and original. Guaranteed to have the kids screeching. The creativity of Lemony Snicket is never ending. Also in this book, we will see for the first time how Klaus Baudellaire solved an amazing word puzzle which his clever skills, in order to save their Aunt from evil Count Olaf.

The movie is titled Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. And This movie's setting, props, and characterism is amazing. For the sake of time, the movie only covers book 1 to 3, and it is packed so gorgeously, making such a unique mystery film. Staring Jim Carrey as the evil Count Olaf, the scenes are dramatically set, and the atmosphere will send chills down your spine!
