Twilight
My Rating: *****
Let's face it. Twilight is a blockbuster in movies, and novels, and probably in fictional obsessions of teenage girls too. The idea of the vampire-human love archetype is written so epic-ly, that no one was excluded from the obsession. The story of Bella the average teen girl and Edward who comes from a vampire family, attracts anyone near it. Of course, the story line can be guessed at some points, but the way Stephenie Meyer tells it, Twilight is a phenomenal novel. The attractiveness of this novel includes Edward's cold yet gorgeous features, elegant love scenes, and chill sender scenes down your spine. How Edward is so much attracted to Bella's sweet smelling blood gives a vulgar aura to the whole story, yet the struggle they go through love will eat up any girl's heart.
The first book gives a knockout performance to the literature world and had been said to kick out Harry Potter from the No.1 best selling novel. The characterizations are considered to be amazing and real, Meyer does seem to have outstanding imaginations. The first of the sequel basically spotlights on how Edward and the Cullens risk their lives to keep Bella safe from some bloodthirsty vampires. The movie was out in the late 2008 starring Kristen Stewart as Bella, and Robert Pattinson as Edward.
New Moon
My Rating: *****
Eclipse
My Rating: ****
Basically, the next few sequels are the continuing stories of the love life between Bella and Edward. The readers are being reminded of how difficult and challenging their lives turned out to be. Bella is then reminded of how she had had her self into a big mess and that she had entered a completely different world which she could not back out of. She was then found being very confused and doubtful. New Moon and Eclipse are the next two books that came out, and personally I think those two are 100% of fun, excitement, tears, fear, and love.
Breaking Dawn
My Rating: ***
The ending of the story is written in Breaking Dawn. To be honest, I was all giddy waiting for this one to be released, however after a few chapters, i lost interest. It seems like Meyer had written this in total rush. Towards the end it got so unreal (not that the idea of vampires in the first place is NOT unreal -_-). It is just that everything got out of control, and I suppose it lost its charisma right there. But overall, I think the Twilight Saga is a definite must read, and it will linger in its readers' hearts forever.
